Royal Family Kids Camp
The Camp
Community of Hope church here in Wilsonville Oregon have taken on the challenge of helping children in the Clackamas County foster care system. Camp is a week long summer camp with all expenses paid for over 30 foster care kids.
The Children
Royal Family Kids' Camp is all about, making positive, happy memories. The Royal Family Kids' Camps program is designed to include several specific and highly beneficial aspects which help hurting kids heal. The format and activities of the week at camp are designed to meet the special needs of children who have been absorbed into the foster care system or who have been recently returned to their home under state supervision.
The Volunteers
Each camper has his/her own counselor which allows each child to thrive under the constant attention of a trusted adult, something most have never experienced.

Why we do camp:
Each year, over 3 million children are abused. RFKC extends Christian love and care to these children. Change the life of a child while you transform your own by getting involved with a team of wonderful people, a family, and join us for Camp 2012! Following Camp, Community of Hope will be looking to launch Royal Friends Club, a mentoring program that continues to provide support on a monthly basis to our campers. The first step to becoming part of the mentor program is to get involved with Camp!
