Few Christian thinkers have shaped the modern church quite like C. S. Lewis. Scholar. Storyteller. Apologist. Friend. Known affectionately as “Jack” to those closest to him, Lewis’s life was marked not only by brilliant writing but by deep friendships and a hard-won faith forged in the “shadowlands” of doubt, war, grief, and longing.
