Adult Bible Class with Pastor Gary: Joseph's Story

God uses the lives of Biblical characters to teach us, to encourage us and warn us. So also, we learn such from the incredible story of Joseph, in the Old Testament, who went from the pit to the palace. Joseph was an ordinary man faced with a multitude of hardships which could have easily caused him to give up hope and turn away from God. However, buffeted with the same kinds of challenges we face today, his tenacious faith in God ultimately blessed him with great honor and achievements.

Joseph’s example can encourage us to have a positive, hopeful faith-filled outlook when we stand nose-to-nose with impossible circumstances, broken dreams or painful rejection. It’s a faith that can help us to move beyond the “why me?”.

This seven-week adult class begins at CoH this Sunday, September 15 at 9 am. You are invited to come and learn some encouraging faith lessons from Joseph that are relevant to your life today and to be reminded of the greatness of God present in your life.

There won't be class September 29.
