Each year, the National Day of Prayer invites us to pause together, seek the Lord, and lift our hearts in unity. This year’s theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations,” reminds us that prayer is not just personal, it’s powerful, purposeful, and meant to extend outward to the world around us.

This theme comes from a time of gratitude and worship in 1 Chronicles 16, when King David rejoiced as the Ark of the Covenant was brought to Jerusalem. After years of separation, God’s people celebrated His presence in their midst.
