Christmas can be a stressful season. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when you lose sight of the real meaning of the holiday. This December don't miss out on what's happening at Community of Hope Church as we refocus on what’s important at Christmas: Jesus’ birth and the love He brings.

Join us every Sunday morning for worship during Advent: December 3, 10, 17 & 24 at 10 am
Do you struggle with waiting and patience? Pastor John's Sunday sermons will follow Louie Giglio's book, "Waiting Here for You." Throughout this waiting season in December, you can prepare your heart to greet December 25th with joy, peace, hope, and refreshed promise in the newborn King: Jesus!
Be at Christmas Family Festival and bring your crew on Sunday, December 3 from 5-7 pm!
Are you looking for a fun and FREE Christmas activity?! Come check out the annual Christmas Family Festival event at Community of Hope. Get ready to make special memories this season with your loved ones. During this event you will make holiday decorations for your home like door swags, wreaths, wooden ornaments, paper chains for counting down until Christmas, Advent logs, kids crafts and more. ALL supplies provided!

Here are some examples of projects you can make at Christmas Family Festival.
This December get some mid-week encouragement with a special Advent devotion time on ZOOM. Grab your Advent log, light it, and spend time reflecting with your family on God's love this Christmas. These devotion times will take place on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. Here's the ZOOM link to join:
Pastor John will be using the Lutheran Hour Ministries Advent devotion book during the Advent devotion times on Zoom. Each day in the devotion book there is Scripture to read as well as discussion questions. Click HERE to download it, or you can pick one up at church.
You are invited to experience an evening of the sounds of Christmas!
You’ll find the peaceful candlelight setting a joyful way to settle into the Spirit of Christmas as you sing along with your favorite carols and listen to the Christmas Story through readings, poetry and beautiful music. There will be a freewill offering to benefit the Food 4 Thought Backpack program.

Middle & high school youth are invited to a fun Christmas party at Langer's in Sherwood! Meet there at 5:30 pm for dinner and games. Email dave@commhope.org if your youth plans to attend or if you have any questions.
Christmas Eve in Wilsonville is the perfect chance to rejoice this season! Bring your family for this special afternoon and evening. There will be lots of fun things in store to help you celebrate the birth of Jesus! All services will be candlelight. Don’t miss out on hot chocolate, treats, special music, and meaningful worship. You can participate inside, outside, or online.
3 & 5 pm worship services will be inside at Community of Hope. There will be special kids activities.
